If I hadn't been able to capture this big happy smile of Adelaide's, this would have been so tough to choose a favorite!

I just love everything about this session, from the girly, floral, lacy-ness of the newborn portraits to the unconventional hat choices the parents brought.

My favorite part of this shoot was accessorizing! I got to use multiple outfits and headbands, silk flowers and lacy wraps and I loved just making it so super girly!

“Emily made the experience look (and feel) easy - when I know the process is anything but! We felt comfortable to feed Addie when we needed to and we felt comfortable with Emily loving on her. Watching the pictures being taken made us so excited to see the finished products!”

When asked why they decided to book a newborn session, Mom said, “Because she’ll only be this little once and I wanted to make sure I had pictures to swoon over once she’s a teenager and has decided everything that her Dad and I do is embarrassing.

We wanted to be able to remember that at one point she was sweet and adorable and thought we were fantastic.”

Mom and Dad (but mostly Mom) are major Star Wars fans and brought the Yoda and Princess Leia caps with them! How cute!
