Eliza Joy | Pittsburgh Newborn Photographer
This was such a unique session for me. Not only was sweet little Eliza Joy awake for the majority of the session, but it was also an in-home session, which I don’t do nearly as much as I used to!
My favorite photo from the session was the one picture above. I love the big smiles on both Shannon and Eliza’s faces! Such a sweet moment between mama and daughter.
It wasn’t until I swaddled Eliza up tight that she finally fell asleep for me.
My favorite moment was definitely when Eliza's big sister Ava, who is not yet 2 years old, wanted to love on and hug her baby sister.
This is just the sweetest family! I am so happy to have been able to capture these photos for Shannon and Andrew.
Fun Fact: Eliza's big sister Ava was my FIRST Pittsburgh newborn I photographed- the day after I moved here from Delaware!
When it came to taking Eliza’s individual portraits, Shannon wanted a mix of lifestyle images and some of my signature posed portraits featuring wraps, headbands, and props. The bottom 2 images here were taken right on Eliza’s nursery floor using the beautiful natural light streaming in through her windows.
Thank you again for allowing me to capture these photos, Shannon & Andrew! You have the most beautiful family.
