Bennett Anthony | 17 Days Old | Gibsonia, PA Newborn Photographer

"My pregnancy with Bennett was very smooth, and myself and the baby were very healthy. I was hoping to be able to deliver him naturally but like his big sister he was big like his 6ft 5” daddy so he didn’t seem to want to come naturally so I went forward with a scheduled c-section the day after his due date.

It went well and I was pleasantly surprised and was able to hold him and nurse him immediately after he came out so it ended up being a special, great experience after all. I will never forget meeting him for the first time and seeing his big sister interact with him and instantly love all over him." - Amanda

This is a pose I have been dying to try because I felt like it would just be so super sweet and I love how it turned out. Not all dads are crazy about the idea of holding their naked newborn sans diaper during a photo shoot, but Kevin was willing to see my vision through!

We had t schedule Bennett's session when he was a little bit older than I typically schedule. However, he was an absolute dream during the session.

He slept for family photos, took a bottle while big sister was getting ready to leave, and then slept wonderfully for the rest of his photo shoot.

I loved putting Bennett in the bucket that mom picked out and putting the little bear bonnet on him. It was the cutest thing and gave me all the warm feels. I mean, come on…

Being born so close to the 4th of July, Mom thought it would be fun to incorporate an American flag into the session, and I really loved this wooden neutral-toned flag that she brought with her!

"The most memorable thing was seeing Brynleigh and Kevin take photos with him and how they both interacted with him. Bennett was also so well behaved and easy going and it was all very sweet to watch," Mom said.

Bennett's session is a perfect example for why NOT to stress out if you can't get your baby to the newborn photographer in the "magical 7-10 day window."

All babies are different, and following the pre-session instructions your photographer gives you has much more effect on whether the session goes smoothly than the baby's age!

Can’t get enough sibling sweetness?

Check out Vanessa Ray’s session!
