Henry was a dream to photograph during his newborn session. At just 10 days old—an ideal age for newborn portraits—he slept peacefully through most of the session, allowing us to capture a beautiful variety of posed images.

He briefly woke when we settled him into the little bed prop, giving us the opportunity to photograph a few precious wide-eyed portraits before drifting back to sleep.

During our planning consultation, Henry's mom shared that he was their precious rainbow baby and hoped we could incorporate that meaningful part of his story into the session. To honor that journey, we included a sweet portrait of Henry holding a tiny felt heart adorned with a rainbow—a simple but heartfelt tribute to the love, hope, and resilience that brought him here.

I also have to give a special shoutout to Mom and Dad for their wardrobe selections. Wearing oatmeal and cream, while having Henry be the pop of color in hunter green, was absolutely perfect for this session, creating a timeless, organic feel that complemented every setup beautifully. From the family portraits to Henry's individual images, the colors flowed seamlessly throughout the gallery, adding a sense of cohesion and warmth while keeping the focus exactly where it belonged—on their sweet new baby and the love they share as a family.
