First of all, let me say this session was out of the norm because, for active 2-year-old boys, I wholeheartedly recommend outdoor sessions where they have much more freedom to move, run, and play! That being said…the little guy was turning two in March so Mom and I decided a studio session was a better alternative to the cold. Plus, Trevor loved trains and was super happy to hang out and play trains in the studio with me!

I must say, I did really enjoy crafting this train and tracks for the backdrop. It was fun and new and turned out super cute for Trevor’s portraits!

And, of course, a train-themed photoshoot just wouldn’t be complete without getting a shot with a conductor hat! So cute!
