One of my goal shots with a cake smash is always the baby behind the cake looking at the camera and smiling.
You'd be surprised how difficult it can be to get that shot once you put that cake down in front of them. Some babies get really into their cake, and Jax was no different!
Developmentally, Jax was already running by the time of his session. He certainly kept us on our toes as Mom and Dad had to keep setting him back down in front of the backdrop!
My absolute favorite moment had to be when Jax leaned in to take a bite of the cake without using his hands. That was a first for me, and it had all of us laughing!
Even if 1-year-olds aren't yet walking by their session, they're often fast crawlers, which is why I always recommend mamas come in their yoga pants because this will definitely count as your workout for the day!
