I love the emotion and how real this image is. Trying to get both a 3-year-old and 1-year-old to cooperate simultaneously does not typically make for an "easy" session. This isn't a "perfect" image, but then again, life with a toddler and preschooler isn't perfect either.

Claire absolutely obliterated her cake! What makes it even funnier is that she barely ate a morsel of it, but she smashed away happily like she was splashing water in the bathtub. I mean, towards the end, there was hardly anything left on the cake stand at all.

This was arguably the easiest first birthday session ever! Veyda was content, happy and smiley. Often the 1-year-olds couldn’t care less that I'm there at all because they want to look around and explore, but this little one was all too happy to ham it up for us.
