Kim’s maternity session almost didn’t happen—we had originally scheduled for late March 2020, but then Covid happened and the state went into lockdown for 2 months.

I contacted her the day the lockdown was lifted, and even though she was scheduled to be induced the next day, she came to the studio after work and we made it happen! These images are that much more special because we almost missed out on being able to capture them.

After capturing a few portraits in gowns from my collection, Kim had a couple of her own outfits she’d brought for a more casual look, plus a little pink crown to represent the imminent arrival of her little princess.
